Sequoia to Lake of the Springs CA - Day 4




Sunday June 21st – Day 4


From Sequoia National Park to Lake of the Springs CA


Towing miles: 350


We were sad to leave Sequoia as there is still more to see and do here, but time dictates that we move on to our next destination. Dumped the RV tanks and hit the road by about 9am. We made it safely off the mountain and down into Fresno for brunch at about 10:45am. Pretty good time considering we dropped about 7000’ in elevation.

Today was thankfully uneventful and we made it safely to our 2nd destination, Lake of the Springs, which is a private California campground in the 1000 Trails system. We’re about 100 miles NW of Sacramento. There is a large private lake here and the girls are anxious to swim and do some fishing ASAP.

We got to camp at 5:30 and were all set up and relaxing by 6pm. But most importantly, I got the laptop working and we have internet access here! So today I am able to upload the missing first few days and get you all caught up! More to come later. Stay tuned :)

    Looks like so much fun!! I miss camping!! David's home terribly sick with MONO (took him to the ER on Sunday)!! Greg's starting to cough and so is Brian! Yikes! I'd much rather be camping!!

    Hi There,
    Well I still am plugging away trying to figure out how to do this blogging thing.
    Yikes!!There has to be some sort of system to get all the comments & posted info by date but I'm still not sure. I can't find the blog I did yesterday So don't know if it that one took or not or if I wrote it somewhere that I shouldn't have.
    So please have patience with me while I'm trying to figure it out. Haven't seen anymore posts since this 20th one?? I Just don't get it but Love Ya All & hope you're having a great time.

    Oh Yeah, one more thing! I love the pic of Kelly holding the salamander?? Is that what it was? Anyway, that's my favorite pic so far!! Caught the moment and love the angle!! You're going to be in trouble with those girls when they're teens!! Very pretty girls!! Any chance you can get Kelly glasses too??? Gotta get those girls in really thick ugly glasses so the boys will stay away!! LOL Enjoy them now......this teenage stuff isn't quite as I expected!! LOL It's all good though......what doesn't kill you makes you stronger right???
